In late 2016 I became Development manager for Agiliti initially this involved myself and the wider Agiliti management team transferring associates from within Fiserv into Agiliti. The teams were built out the ethos laid out and we hit the ground running!Agiliti combines a suite of offerings from our Fiserv solution stack into a hosted “Software-a-a-Service” (SaaS) platform for the banking sector. My role involves looking after a range of software teams committed to the continuous development and on-going 24/7 support of the Agiliti platform and its clients on board.More information on Agiliti can be found on the Fiserv website.

I took part in some initial discovery workshops for a new client for Fiserv (Thinkmoney).This evolved into a role where I was mainly on the client site assisting with designs, questions and general consultancy to help build out a combined solution enabling them to migrate their customer and banking system from RBS on to the Fiserv platform named Agiliti (a hosted software as a service platform).

In house I headed up a project to take the latest code base and make a range of alterations to produce the foundations for a new Fiserv venture that was to be called Agiliti.My area covered the core banking engine and contact centre facing application.

Over the last year or so I have mainly been involved in Account Switching for Tesco current account. My role was as a development team leader involved in all aspects of the project, performing the duties of architect, lead technician and technical PM. My involvement was from the initial scoping and design phase all the way through to implementation and production support. The project passed Payments Council accreditation and is now live.

Having worked for Fiserv (through Triangle) I moved to work directly for Fiserv

Introducing ISA’s to the market My main function in the project was as both Technical team leader and Host lead technician and architect.This project involved providing a suite of ISA products for the bank to bring-to-market, this involved various software enhancements to the Fiserv product suite; web processing for online applications and servicing, back-end core processing and interfacing and contact centre functionality.The project was conducted with a streamlined team of highly skilled Project managers, Analysts and developers, the project was deemed a major success by all stakeholders.

Contact centre servicing for Credit Card Customers.My main function in the project was as Technical team leader managing the team of developers and business analysts from requirements gathering through to the delivery. This project involved building upon the existing contact centre software to enable the bank to run a contact centre to service their credit card customers. This was a large and complex project with many interfaces to other systems and channels.

In 1999 I was assigned onto a project that was to be called Cahoot (Abbey National’s new venture for online banking). This was an installation with major enhancements of Fiserv’s ICBS/CRS (now called signature/Aperio) as the engine of the bank and the contact centre providing the core functionality required to create, process and service accounts, customers, payments, applications etc. The Fiserv suite interfaced to an IBM Web front end as well as the usual banking interfaces that Fiserv provides for including BACS, Experian, Inland revenue, data warehouse etc.In around 2002 after Cahoot had gone live a dedicated service team was left in place, I remained on the project and in this team as an analyst programmer with line management responsibilities and provided 24/7 software support. In around 2008 Abbey National was taken over by Santander at that point I was involved in the migration project to move the customer and account data across to Santander’s own bespoke systems - it wasnt until 2010 that the migration took place and the project ended.
