I've been in the marine industry since 1983, beginning my career as a diesel (and gasoline) engine and generator technician. Subsequently, I've held management positions at the dealer, distributor and currently the manufacturing level including all aspects of corporate sales and marketing (domestic and international - over 70 countries total), marketing strategy, sales to distributors and OEMs, advertising, promotion, pricing, product development, public relations activities and direct interface with major OEM customers.Major accomplishments include the consummation of exclusive multi-year generator sales agreements, earning new business in the propulsion engine market where the Company had performed poorly in the past, and establishing a new market for diesel generators in fire-rescue apparatus.
