Passionate, personable and proactive IB trained Teacher of Drama having worked in both the private and public sector, with a demonstrated history of leading a successful Drama department at Inspired’s St George’s International School, Switzerland. Experience teaching Drama at IB, A-level and GCSE levels.Trained in Drama education at Goldsmiths University London, and have experience working in a variety of educational settings with students aged from 7 - 18 years. I previously trained in as a performer in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre arts and worked professionally as an actor prior to teaching. Skilled in Drama, Musical Theatre, Vocal Training, Primary and Secondary Drama education, delivering IB Theatre, GCSE/IGCSE Drama, A-Level Theatre and Public Speaking as well as Theatre design study.I look to be a teacher who not only develops students acting ability and necessary skills for examinations, but uses Drama as a medium to explore relevant issues and topics in order to dig deep, push boundaries and create well rounded, open-minded members of society. Throughout my planning, I look to further collaborative, evaluative, confidence and performance skills, which students are able to use throughout their examination classes and take with them into later life, be it in the arts or not.
