About Tom Welsh

I'm an inventor at heart. Always feel best when I'm making something with my own hands. Enjoy variety and working in mixed fields. Have worked for over thirty companies in my life - a dozen before the age of twenty. Have had a few small companies of my own just for the learning experience. I am self-taught in analog and digital electronics and embedded programming. Can operate just about anything in a machine shop and sheet metal fab shop. Can make just about anything given the tools and raw material. Most of my recent work has been with medical device companies. I have been a Sr. Product Development Engineer or Sr. Mechanical Engineer for many years now and enjoy the work. Years ago I began making a conscious effort to only work for companies that had a positive affect on society. I do not do any military related work and stay away from companies whose products encourage unhealthy behavior.Specialties: Solving tough problems. Developing products in record time.

Listed skills include Manufacturing, Product Development, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and 12 others.
