I worked on the Recruiting Automation team doing full stack development with Spring MVC, jQuery, and MySQL. My primary project was exposing an internal interviewer tracking tool, Palpatine, to companies that use Indeed to hire candidates. To facilitate this process, I created a variety of new admin pages, redesigned the access control system, and integrated the Palpatine tool with a variety of other Indeed databases and services.

I worked on a cyberbullying research project, doing Android and Django development. I worked to design the algorithms to collect and store the social media data from the participants.

Coralville Iowa

I worked as a software intern on the Android team doing test driven agile development. I handled the initial porting of the tablet app to the phone ecosystem and rewrote the on-device test framework to use a lightweight C# server instead of an unreliable socket system. I helped to reduce technical debt by rewriting sections of the app to better follow Android design guidelines.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa

I did a mix of python, and C development for Rockwell, writing tests and simulations for airplane LRUs. During that time I created a framework to automatically generate unit tests from design documents and optimized the build process. By finding and correcting a critical bug in the build process, a build that previously took 25 hours took only 15 minutes.I also created a variety of scripts automating various parts of the GPS weapon team's, including issue tracking, sequence diagram generation, and test verification.
