Scrum Master for Commercial IT System Team (Kanban), facilitating Agile ceremonies and developing Kanban work flow for large-scale Server upgrades (Windows & Linux) in preparation for Open UI systems. I participated in planning exercises with Senior Management Team and key stakeholders for this initiative. I also worked with a newly formed Retail Bank Agile Team including off-shore resources. I established Agile practices and ceremonies with this new team, including coaching the Product Owner and Team Members on roles and responsibilities, and backlog management.

As Scrum Master for a Digital Middleware Portfolio Office team, established Agile Scrum ceremonies and provided Agile methodology coaching. This team was converted from a manual MS Excel tracking system, implementing Version One which included team and individual training. I also authored a Version One user guide for this team.I also served as an Integrated Project Manager during this period to manage a large-scale Branding Day 1 project that established a common user interface for creating and servicing multiple loan types for INGD and Capital One Call Centers.As Scrum Master for a very large fulfillment team, began the Agile Journey. I worked with on-shore and off-shore teams to convert waterfall-type mannerisms to Agile. Established and facilitated all Agile ceremonies and coached the team as they continued their journey to continuous delivery and continuous improvement. This assignment required significant efforts as manual tracking and reporting mechanisms were replaced using Version One as the Agile tracking tool.

I provided technology site management for several Virginia local government offices. In this role I provided custom-built computer systems and provided technical support and user training for deployed systems. As a Financial Systems Analyst, I worked with these government agencies providing financial accounting services for tax services.

I had a very long industrious career with Bank of America, 22 years of IT experience through several mergers and acquisitions. I started as a Mainframe Network Systems programmer, became a network engineer, converted to become a Service Design Consultant, transitioned to become an IT Project Manager, and finished my career as a Managed Service Project Management Office Technical Consultant.Throughout this period I had the wonderful experience of working with and leading several IT Teams, while establishing a great rapport with senior leadership throughout the organization.
