Whether I’m at my desk as a Customer Solutions Analyst for Delta Faucet Company, or I’m out on a field playing soccer, I try to lead by example. Being calm, positive, patient and focused serves me well in both environments. I’ve been in some type of customer service role my entire professional career, and have developed excellent communication skills, regardless of the audience. In my current role with Delta, I work with rep agencies on the East and South Coasts, on both trade and wholesale accounts. Through the years, I have honed a seasoned sense of protocol and etiquette that enhances my customers’ experience, and I thrive in situations where I can take a troubled customer and resolve their problem in a way that makes them feel satisfied. Even though most of our conversations take place by phone, I also enjoy getting to know my rep agencies on a personal level. You have to put a little more effort in virtual relationships in order to build trust and rapport. The people that I work with are a tight-knit group, and we have fun together in a family atmosphere. Whenever someone asks me if I like my job, I emphatically say, “Yes!” because Delta is a great place to work. While I tend to be focused and driven at work, I’m definitely more outgoing and expressive outside the office walls. I’ve played soccer since I was little – even playing on the Ball State University team – and most recently, coaching my son’s youth teams for 15 years. I still play every Sunday with an over-45 group … it keeps me physically fit.My passion for coaching actually led to an interest in motorcycles. I bought my first bike in order to get around to my son’s soccer games more easily, and now I enjoy taking rides with my wife across the state when we can. Being with my family, going camping and being outdoors - with no phones or electronics - is one of my favorite things to do. My passion for my family, along with working hard for Delta, continues to give me a great and balanced life.
