I have been working as an electrician since my last year in university to cover living costs, and now since i have a stable environment I am planning to apply what I've learned at the university to seek a career at software development. Although my experience as an electrician does not convert to software development I did acquire quite a few skills which are useful at any kind of a job. Here's a list of several particular skills that will aid me in software development field: - I work well in a group. I've worked in groups from 2 to 9 people, maintained good relations with each of my coworkers and performed each of our tasks as a well oiled machine together.- I learn new things quite fast. I've jumped in as an electrician with zero prior knowledge and figured out things extremely fast. Now, there is almost no task my employer can give me which i would be unable to do.- I can teach others what i know fairly well since i was asked to teach multiple newcomers how everything works and i have done it successfully.- I am able to come up with out of the box solutions. I have developed an ability to look at problems from a different angle, while others are scratching their heads how to do something the usual way, I am coming up with a solution from a different angle.Since I want to become a C# developer I have refreshed and expanded my knowledge of C# and made an App in .Net and Xamarin as a personal project which i am still using today.I am open to job offers at tomas.rimkus107@gmail.com
