CurrentThe College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Central Florida offers an impactful course designed to introduce first-year engineering students to foundational concepts through hands-on projects that foster real-world problem-solving skills.In my role, I lead and mentor over 120 students in a lab setting, where I develop and implement teaching strategies that build proficiency in essential engineering tools like Excel, MATLAB, and Arduino, as well as guide students through the Engineering Design Approach. My focus is on cultivating a dynamic, supportive environment that empowers students to apply their skills, laying the groundwork for their academic and professional success.Key aspects of my role include defining and executing learning objectives, instructing in vital skills such as soldering, CAD, coding, and team collaboration, and fostering a foundation for lifelong learning and innovation in engineering.I take pride in guiding and shaping the future of engineering, contributing to a diverse and skilled next generation of engineers.
