I specialise in both residential and commercial carpentry which includes task such as construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, flooring using various hand tools-chisel, hammer, hand saw, squares, levels, etc and power tools- circular saw, mitre saw, table saw, hammer drill, impact drill, grinder, nail gun.Tasks/Duties:- Read and interpret working plans to determine materials required, dimensions, specifications, and installation procedure to meet the required standards and site-specific needs of the client- Install prefabricated formwork units for large sections or high-rise or civil concrete construction projects- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframe- Measure, cut, shape and fabricate timber, plywood, wallboard, floor and perspex materials for assembly, jointing and installation fitting- Coordinate with crew members and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures- Receive instructions from site supervisor as required- Maintain neat and clean work area at all times- Carrying out repairs on existing structures- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures

Inspect and clean surface in preparation for material.Measure area to determine amount of materials needed.Confer with architect or homeowner to determine ideal material and layout.Correct defects such as a sub-floor that is unleveled or contains rotted wood.Sweep, scrape, sand, or chip dirt and irregularities from base surfaces, and fill cracks with putty, plaster, or cement grout to form smooth foundation.Negotiate prices and provide estimates on how long the job will take.Cut flooring materials.Use adhesive to glue material to floor.Install padded underlayer to reduce noise.Install floor covering and ensure there are no cracks.Replace any defective flooring material.Supervise flooring assistants.
