After leaving my hometown at the age of 16, in order to pursue a career in hockey, I was faced with challenges that facilitated my growth as a leader and self-starter and as a result, I was fortunate enough to become an NCAA student-athlete at Lawrence University. As an Economics major, I focused on modeling techniques, quantitative research, and investments framework, which have helped develop my analytical and technical skills with an emphasis on finance. However, my focus on economics and finance has not taken away from the liberal arts education, through which I've learned essential communication and problem-solving skills.
