-management and supervision of hydrogeological site investigations and groundwater modeling in support of mine permitting; -experience in site investigations includes drilling supervision/well installation in overburden and bedrock, design and analysis of hydraulic testing (slug tests, packer tests and pumping tests) and groundwater monitoring; -working knowledge of low-flow sampling (including the use of dedicated pumps) according to “Water and Air Baseline Monitoring Guidance Document for Mine Proponents and Operators – June 2016”, “CCME Protocol Manual for water sampling in Canada – 2011” and “2013 B.C. Field Sampling Manual – Part E Water and Wastewater sampling”; -groundwater modeling experience includes the development of 3D groundwater flow and solute transport models (using Modflow) to assess dewatering requirements for open pits and underground mines as well as seepage and contaminant transport from mine waste facilities.

-Provide evaluations and reports from field data;-Hydrogeological Assessments for Land Developments ;-Conduct monitoring and methane well installations for landfills (D-4 study);-Prepare EASR and PTTW applications.

Responsible for full cycle project management including budget management/forecasting, analytical data evaluation, field project planning and execution and technical report writing.Additional responsibilities include permitting, subcontractor coordination, client/agency relations, staff management, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, PTTW and EASR.

Main duties:• Technical Review for PTTW Category II and III;• Report regarding monitoring of groundwater and surface water at waste disposal sites;• Technical report preparation for Brownfields.

Project Highlights:• Phase I and II site assessment and remediation project of a former surface mining area;• Supporting of the redevelopment project for Siemens that interest an area of 200,000 square meters for the construction of the New European Headquarters;• Phase III ESA with inertization of waste material in a Brownfield Site, with the result of reducing by 40% the remediation cost if compared to a traditional system of excavation and disposal;• Permit to take water and development of a groundwater model with heat transport for the heating and cooling systems of the new skyscrapers in Porta Vittoria redevelopment project in Milan (one of them won the international highrise award 2014 as the most innovative skyscraper in the world)• Evaluation of the impacts on groundwater connected with the excavation of the new underground railway in the municipality of Florence and effectively avoid the "dam effect" thanks to the implementation and designation of drainage systems;• Reduce contaminated soil disposal of 40% by using a Risk Assessment approach for a new residential area in Milan affected by PAH contamination.

Project Highlights• Responsable for carrying out the engineering project and implementation of a hydraulic barrier (3D groundwater and salt intrusion model) in order to prevent the migration of an Arsenic plume to the property’s surrounding areas and to the sea• Environmental impact assessment for the realization of a new disposal site in a former tufa mining area in the municipality of Naples;• Environmental Remediation Project (based on a 3D numerical flow and transport model) to prevent the migration of a TCE plume.

• Prevented the interruption of production in a steel factory by implementing a Soil and Groundwater Remediation Project at an area affected by a freon 141 contamination (Soil Vapor Extraction and hydraulic barrier)• Carried out a Soil and Groundwater Remediation Project in an area affected by gasoline spill from a tanker accident with a DPHVE system able to remediate vadose and saturated zones simultaneously;• MTBE Groundwater Remediation project with an innovative technology based on a groundwater circulation well (GCW) able to reach the Site Condition Standard 30% faster;
