I am a dedicated Special Education Teacher who currently teaches Special Education Mathematics at Garfield Middle School. I am certified in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education (K-12). With a passion for inclusive education, I support students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their goals through individualized instruction and a positive classroom environment. My experience also includes two leave replacements in my previous school district for 5th Grade ELA and 5th Grade Math during the 2022-23 school year. During these experiences, I have developed a track record of achieving their learning goals, performing to high standards, and managing a classroom.I currently hold a Masters Degree in Elementary Education (Kindergarten-Sixth Grade). I also hold a Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate for K-12 for special education. I earned both degrees at Montclair State University in 2021. I am highly involved in my community when I am not in the classroom. I volunteer as the Saddle Brook Mayor's Youth Group Liaison for the Mayor and Council. I served as Youth Group President when I was a junior and senior in high school (2013-2014). I am also a member of the Saddle Brook Community Partnership and Access for All Committees. I also served on a communications committee with other community members/stakeholders to get a referendum passed for the Saddle Brook Schools to improve their facilities.Photography is another passion of mine.
