CEng MIET CPEng MIEAust NER IntPE(Aus) APEC Engineer RPEng RPEQ RPEVI have 18 years of experience in earthing design and performance/evaluation testing, electromagnetic fields (EMF) analysis design and testing, low-frequency induction (LFI) to third-party assets, and lightning protection studies.BEng (Hons 1) and CDEGS Level 1 Certification (Power System Grounding and EMI) with SES Technologies Ltd.I'm an expert in my field. I've shaped the industry through my new and novel approach with the detailed design studies calculating fault current distribution splits amongst turbines, substations, and any other assets in large interconnected wind farms (or other systems alike). I presented my expert design methodologies for large interconnected wind farms at the DTEC2018 conference.My experience has predominantly been as an expert Earthing Engineer for infrastructure such as substations and overhead lines for both transmission and distribution, water pumping stations, industrial facilities, telecommunications, and coal, gas, solar and wind generation facilities. I’ve also had some experience with substation primary plant design, and load flow, cable sizing, and trench design studies using DigSILENT and CYMCAP software, and thermal resistivity testing. Through my career, and the broad range of clients that I service for Zero Sequence Earthing, I have significant experience and exposure of earthing design and testing practices around Australia. I have an intimate understanding of the technical design and construction problems that clients face.I have great pride in the quality of work I perform, providing clients with documentation that is not just fit for completion of the project, but for future augmentation or review of the asset in the future.
