Along with my wife and co-director we run Go Cotswolds - a minibus tour operator based in Stratford-upon-Avon. We operate scheduled tours of the Cotswolds, private tours and minibus private in two 16-passenger seat minibuses. I founded the company in late November 2013 as an owner-operator sole-trader and we undertook our first tour in July 2014. At the time we operated just one minibus and I undertook all roles within the company. As we grew my wife came on board, we turned limited in late 2018 and invested in two second-hand Mercedes touring vehicles that the tours are currently undertaken in. I still do a number of the tours but we also use two free-lance driver-guides and a free-lance driver for private hire.

After a career break to explore Southern Africa I registered as self employed to allow myself to pick up small contracts in various roles across the summer months of 2013. The majority of the work was with Beautiful Lawn Care where I managed a small team carrying out remedial work on customer gardens across South Warwickshire, Worcestershire & Gloucestershire. I was also given the opportunity to manage the company in the Directors' absence which gave me great experience dealing with clients directly, scheduling work, managing employees, processing invoices, updating company systems and banking.

Responsible for developing new areas of business for a leakage detection and underground utility mapping company based in Redditch, Worcestershire. The varied role and involved meeting current and prospective clients of the company across the UK on a day to day basis, advising clients on future water management plans, talking to customers on the phone, pricing up work, post survey meetings and discussing Aquatech's on site capabilities.I had 5 years experience of working in the water loss & energy saving sector - 3 years on site and nearly 2 years talking about the services that Aquatech provide.
