Responsibilities concurrent with CFO role. Designed, promoted and oversaw implementation of Healthy Lifestyle programs, addressing character development for youth and adolescents as part of federally funded grant ($2.4 million budget). Designed concept and wrote successful grant application. Oversaw establishment of community-based programs in more than two dozen cities nationally, as well as planting of the program in countries outside the United States. Served as national spokesman for programs, representing HOPE worldwide directly with multiple constituencies, including donors, community partners, and beneficiaries. Established partnerships between a wide range of community agencies and individuals, including municipal governments, school districts, the faith community, businesses, and service agencies.

Standardized systems processes for fund-raising, donor relations, grants management, and finance. Developed and implemented procedures to streamline handling of donations, eliminating delays in acknowledgements and in incorporation into financial accounting system. Expanded use of template libraries to tailor donor acknowledgements and receipts. Initiated broader use of donor database for targeting national and specialized appeals. Oversaw four-fold expansion of constituent database. Wrote and submitted successful grants to federal agencies, including several multi-million dollar programs. Oversaw production of Annual Reports.

Established and provided executive management for outsourced Human Resources and Risk Management department for affiliated non-profits world-wide, including employee benefits (health, disability, life, flex plans and retirement), salary and compensation for approximately 2,100 employees around the world. The department processed all health insurance billing and claims. In addition, administered Risk Management functions, including general liability insurance, directors and officers liability insurance, and business property insurance. Annual revenues for the department exceeded $24 million. Designed and oversaw development and national implementation of a fully-featured Human Resources Information System, integrating compensation, payroll, and employee benefits functions.

Provided product management and marketing direction for variety of pharmaceutical market research products, including coordination of efforts between sales force, operations and information systems to identify client needs and define product offerings, design marketing materials, train sales staff and make presentations to clients.Hospital relations responsibilities included maintenance of professional relations with leaders in the hospital pharmacy community and hospital clients, presentations to prospective hospital clients, and facilitation of user group discussions.

Day-to-day management of operations, design of systems for first integrated hospital pharmacy usage database, including normalization of databases for creation of relational model, and presentations and sales calls to pharmaceutical industry clients. Oversaw growth of first national database of integrated hospital inpatient drug and medical record data from four hospitals to 75. Responsible for recruiting of hospitals, design of databases, systems and software, and hiring and training of personnel. Assisted with general accounting.
