My name is Tom Cannon. I am a recent graduate of the University of Central Lancashire graduating with a First Class Bachelors of Science in Computer Games Development, and achieved the highest average grade of my course.I am passionate about everything gaming related, from playing games to researching how different techniques within games have been achieved.While I enjoy most sectors of the gaming industry during my time in university I found that my main interest lay within computer graphics. From this time I have been fascinated with how many of the different graphical techniques have been implemented within games and enjoy reading and researching about these techniques work.Because of my interest in computer graphics my final year undergraduate project was focused more on the graphical side of the games development scene. The main task of the project was to create a tech demo using DirectX 11 capable of showing several different graphical techniques to the user in an aesthetically pleasing manner. In my own time I like to create small website to help further my understanding of web development techniques, my portfolio is one example of such a website that I have created.
