• I lead the development of next generation of lighting controller PCBA from gathering requirement and specification to component selection, schematic capture, layout and testing. Reduced the board size by using BGA parts and increased the configurability by firmware and software that reduce the manufacturing calibration time. • I investigated intermittent fault from system level down to board level. Root cause was electrical short on mounting screw short to SCK signal for G2 Top Light PCBA. Implemented insulation washer for short term solution for exist stock of materials and rerouting the PCB layout trace away from the mounting screw holes as long-term solution. • I spearheaded the CE marking of LX-1000 and M2 products from quoting project scope to resolving findings that complies to EMC (EN 61326-1, EN 61000-6-2, 61000-6-4) and product safety standards (NPFA 79, MD2006/42/EC, EN 13849-1) within budget and schedule. • I researched and found replacement for Arduino ATMEGA328 microcontroller from Seeeduino. Recompiled existing firmware source code to adapt into new microcontroller that meet the form fit and function interchangeability requirement to minimize field replacement changes. • I improved manufacturability of PCBA by updating layout footprint library reducing drill hole size and updating silkscreen with assembly orientation mark. Simplified PCB routing by using copper pour planes for power and ground traces.
