Thomas is an entrepreneur and R&D professional with more than a decade of experience in developing and commercialising catalysts for sustainable chemical applications. His technical education and background is complemented by extensive project managment, commercial and leadership experience gained from a career in the chemical industry. His previous responsibilities include: product development, R&D management and business development in the area of sustainable chemical technologies. He has had notable career successes in bringing innovative chemical products from laboratory to market including in the areas of; chemical production, nuclear safety, aerospace, automotive and air pollution control technologies. In his most recent role as business development manager for Power-to-X applications he was responsible for the development and strategy of the portfolio of energy storage and renewable chemical and fuel production technologies at the leading chemical company Clariant.Thomas has recently co-founded and is currently leading Sisyphus, an early stage startup addressing more efficient routes to renewable chemicals and fuels.
