Development of cross-platform mobile system for Enteprise plc. Due to the nature of the work undertaken by Enterprise, there were several considerations to be made around off-line working, data storage and the peculiarities of delivering a cross-platform solution. The system was built using PhoneGap, jQuery Mobile, NodeJS and C# WCF

The website was designed such it can operate in both Greek and English and used custom-written jQuery validation and UI plug-ins based on a Java/SpringMVC back-end.

Skills Used: OO Javascript, jQuery, JSON, CSS, ASP.Net, C# WCF ServicesIn this web development/design role I have been responsible for the UI architecture, design, standards and implementation of a new web-based system to replace a 15-year old Windows application. This new system is based on an Object Oriented JavaScript, jQuery XHTML and CSS User Interface on top of a C# WCF Service layer and MS SQL Database.Whilst also working at Enterprise I was also tasked to write an intranet-based HR system which would allow for electronic submission of recruitment requests, salary changes, etc. This system had a highly configurable rules system of my own design which made the HR department self-sufficient rather than needing modifications to the software if or when the company was restructured.

Skills Used: DHTML, ASP, JS, VBS, VB6, MS-SQL, C (Unix), Oracle, Informix, Installshield; During my time at Ramesys/RedSky IT I undertook several different roles, from developing web-based systems to C programs on Unix terminals. My last role involved leading the development team in a concept of my own device: a generic, role based back-end system enquiry built into the CMS product which would give users vastly enhanced, easy-to-use enquiry/graphing facilities. The back-end systems being enquired on included Oracle, Informix and SQL Server databases. This software has been implemented across all divisions and implementations of the CMS product. This particular module generated much interest from both customers and internal users. Whilst working at RedSky, I attained both the Blackburn-based 'Professional of the month' and company-wide 'Professional of the Quarter' awards.

Skills Used: Web Design, Delphi, SQL, InstallshieldI also worked at a bespoke software house for 2 years. This involved writing complex accountancy software for many diverse industries in Borland Delphi (utilising Seagate Crystal Reports as the Reporting engine) and well as customer-focused web development, in DHTML and ASP. My role also included the task of analysing business requirements for clients.During this time I also designed the stationary for the company including letterheads, business cards and marketing sheets.
