As a teaching assistant, I work closely with a professor specializing in heat transfer to design and test laboratory experiments for bachelor's level engineering students. I held small group teaching sessions for struggling students to clarify and further their understanding of complex topics. Additionally, I managed and facilitated all laboratory experiments in the classroom.

As a research assistant, I worked closely with an expert in thermodynamics to apply theories of thermoelectrics to critical, real-world issues. Specifically, I researched Thermoelectric Modules and optimized a low power thermoelectric refrigeration system for use in off grid communities and created an power and cost efficient thermal management solution. Our refrigeration system is ideal for communities with little access to medicine and other life-saving , technologies that must remain cool for extended periods with no gridded power.

As a summer Quality Assurance intern for two years, I supervised and inspected all work on the satellites by verifying all technical specifications regarding the satellite assembly. I was personally responsible for validating all work done on or around the space craft and other designated parts. Additionally, I supervised procedures and promoted consistent strong work ethics to meet company standards and deadlines.Throughout my time at Space Systems Loral, I worked predominately with satellite construction on the bus module (satellite frame) and battery, but I also worked closely with solar arrays and deployment mechanisms. As an intern, I learned the importance of quality assurance and saw larger picture engineering concepts come together seamlessly in my direct work with the satellite.

As an intern, I tested OA trays and analyzed the resulting date to determine functionality and acceptability of the product. I also effectively trained my replacement on the technical and detail-oriented problem solving skills required for this position.

As a summer intern, I worked alongside Machinists to finalize product construction. I performed final inspections and readied products to be shipped to customers.
