The transaction closed effective Nov. 1, 2018.Benefit Administration Group offers employee benefit brokerage services to employers in Louisiana, with additional capabilities in the individual health insurance market and corporate outsourced HR solutions. The acquisition allows NFP to establish a presence in New Orleans, a historically underrepresented area for the firm. Former principal Tom Daly will join NFP as a vice president, reporting to Ethan Foxman, president of the Mid-Atlantic region."This acquisition allows NFP to continue to extend its comprehensive benefits capabilities across the nation," said Foxman. Funny Bones Improv is a registered 501c3 charitable organization. Our mission is to share the gifts and benefits of laughter with sick children, their families, and their caregivers, in multiple hospitals across Chicago and New Orleans through volunteer comedy improvisation performances.Hospital visits and long-term stays can be stressful for everyone, especially children. Through Funny Bones Improv, we provide children with an opportunity to play with laughter and hopefully brighten their day, add a smile and a hearty laugh to reduce their stress.There is an enormous amount of research to show that “a humor therapy program can increase the quality of life for patients with chronic problems and that laughter has an immediate symptom-relieving effect for these patients…” – Lars Ljungdahl, a Swedish researcher (1989).

After serving for 8 years in various capacities on the Board, I have taken over as President for 2013. In the past, I have designed and continue to manage HRMA website and LinkedIn Group. I evaluate new technology offerings available to improve administrative efficiency and member experience.

My team and I affiliated with the Eustis Benefits team to explore merging our operations. After our evaluation, we determined it was not the right time/fit and that we would resume operating separately.
