New product development engineer on Smart Home lighting systems. Responsible for:• Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams including RF designers, electrical engineers, ME's, technicians, and manufacturing specialists• Carrying the design through every stage of the design process, from whiteboard concept to full product launch• Working with domestic and international manufacturers• Designing of high volume parts in plastic (injection molded), rubber (compression molded) and sheet metal (stamping and progressive die)• Tolerance analysis of new and existing mechanical assemblies using ASME Y14.5-2009• Prototype and fixture design using CNC, rapid prototype, and machined
