The World Meeting of Families - Philadelphia 2015 (WMoF) welcomed the world in September 2015 to the City of Philadelphia. As the Director of Technology for the WMoF, my responsibility was to define and prepare all the technology requirements associated with the 20,000 person WMoF Congress at the PA Convention Center as well as the millions of people expected to come to this city to see Pope Francis. These responsibilities included creation of the technical infrastructure, insure the viability of telecommunications, coordination with city and private organizations, development of supporting mobile applications, and all such tasks to support the requirements of an enormous event.Collectively, the weekend's events presented the largest event in the history of Philadelphia welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors, tens of thousands of attendees, thousands of priests, hundreds of bishops and archbishops, scores of cardinals and one Pope.

I was responsible for all IT Services which were not directly product related - e.g. internal Help Desk, networks, servers, security, etc. The company was originally called "Funds Associates Ltd (FAL)" but it was then sold to a division of First Data Corp (FDISG) and then in Dec 2000 to PFPC (division of PNC Bank).

Funds Associates was acquired by PFPC, a division of PNC Bank in December 2000.
