I am a university graduate who is just beginning to build a professional career in event management and organisation. I have performed many different entry-level roles since the age of 16 including bar work, cleaning, warehouse work, waiting and coffee making. Outside of education and conventional work, I have focused the majority of my efforts on the evolution and growth of a community based around competitive computer gaming (commonly known as eSports) for many years. I have done this by providing events both online and offline, and online resources that allow the community to interact and compete against each other including websites, forums, chat-rooms and social media pages. Now that the British community has grown large enough that the efforts a single person isn't effective enough, I have channeled my work into a company named DAT which is a small team of individuals from the community who focus their efforts on running events for the community and getting our nations community recognised and respected globally in our eSport. Recently, we have managed to focus our efforts into getting some of our best competitors flown out to major events, such as the 'eGames' event, which took place at the Olympic games, where he finished 4th.
