Created a new business selling products and services to the emerging Senior Living industry in mainland China. Customers included large Chinese private equity, real estate, and property management firms.Built sourcing teams in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China to accelerate private label manufacturing efforts. Today 65% of Direct Supply private label brand products are manufactured in the Asia/Pacific region.Established 26-person business process outsourcing team supporting 265 processes for USA customers.

Joined as an engineering intern when the company had less than 150 employees. Built systems using Visual Basic, C++, and SQL server technologies. Promoted to roles increasing in responsibility, ultimately leading teams of engineers responsible for all network, server, EDI, telephony, and information security functions.

Co-founded the China chapter of membership organization The Global Ageing Network (globalageing.org), connecting Chinese and global ageing experts in the earliest days of China’s Senior Living industry. Paying members included Chinese private equity, real estate, property management, and insurance firms. Hosted 130 attendees from 36 countries at the 2013 IAHSA Global Ageing Conference in Shanghai, China.

Employed by technology consulting firm Consultis and placed at the Fresh Brands corporate office to serve as a technical expert on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. Trained technology team and deployed systems.

Helped launch the MSOE's first in-dormitory ethernet network. Provided technical support for three dormitories of engineering students both in person and over the phone.
