During my time at CSAT, progressed from an IT Technician to the Trust’s ICT Manager, where I oversaw the IT Department and provision for the three schools forming part of Community Schools Alliance Trust (Cheney School - Secondary, Bayards Hill - Primary and Barton Park - Primary).Before accepting this position, I managed the Trust’s IT Department in an interim capacity, starting shortly prior to the first national lockdown in March 2020.I was given the opportunity to deliver a number of key projects, including designing, procuring, preparing and implementing the IT systems for a new primary school, developing a home-working strategy to support effective teaching & learning during COVID-19 and managing a restructure of the IT team.During this time I was able to maintain business-as-usual operations, ensuring that the IT Department continued to deliver a high standard of service and further develop the Trust’s ICT Systems, with a view of moving away from legacy services and local servers to a cloud/remote focussed model.
