2015-16 - Worked as a statistics tutor for the Academic Support department at The University of Nottingham, where my role is to provide specialist support for students with dyslexia, dyspraxia and other learning difficulties. Prior to this, I have provided one-on-one support to students across a range of subjects in the humanities and social sciences, such as Marketing, Forensic Psychology, Occupational Psychology and Economics. In this role I have advised on aspects of study design (e.g. power analyses), data collection and analysis (logistic and linear regression, mediation and moderation, exploratory factor analysis, structural equation modelling techniques including confirmatory factor analysis and measurement invariance testing).I am also a contributor to quantitative research methods topics on the ResearchGate website and the postgraduate psychology student mailing list.

2015/16 - Teaching assistant on the Quantitative Methods 1 module, where I have also offered online support and am involved in the marking of student projects. In Quantitative methods 2 I will again lecture on modules pertaining to moderation, mediation and factor analysis.Supervisor for 5 MSc students in their (quantitative) dissertation projects. I will support other research students during workshops pertaining to conditional process analysis and (covariance-based and partial least squares) structural equation modelling. I will run drop-in statistics workshops to advice students in the analysis of their MSc thesis.2014/15 - Designed and implemented workshops on correlation/multiple regression and mediation/moderation for part-time MSc students within the School of Medicine. I was further employed as a teaching assistant for a quantitative methods course covering basic elements of statistics (such as the general linear model, probability and power) aimed at a large cohort of full-time MSc students. Finally, I led lectures on mediation/moderation and factor analysis for students on the Quantitative Methods II and Applied Research Project modules.2013/14 - Lecturer on the Advanced Research Methods module for the MSc Occupational/Managerial/Health Psychology student cohort. In this role I delivered sessions relating to techniques focused around the general linear model, such as ANOVA and linear regression. I also ran follow up workshops concerning the implementation of multivariate regression analyses, including mediation and moderation techniques, in SPSS.Assisted Professor John Richards with student supervision on the MSc Occupational Psychology course. Of the two projects I was mainly involved with, both students produced work (and particularly statistical analysis) of a high standard. 2014 & 2015 - led seminar sessions on Causation in Epidemiological Studies during the MSc Psychological Research methods program.

2013/14 & 2014/15 - Provided assistance in the teaching of Advanced Quantitative Research Methods (namely Multiple Regression, Exploratory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modelling) in lectures and workshops for both MSc and PhD programmes. In this role I have also acted as a covering lecturer when the original lecturer was unwell.2013 - Seminar leader for the undergraduate Introduction to Work Psychology program, where business students are taught basic data analysis and presentation techniques.

Lecturer and seminar leader on personality and psychometrics sessions for MSc Psychology and Individual Differences module. Working with a relatively small group I have developed my teaching skills to encourage students to actively participate in the sessions.

Sales Adviser role within Vodafone retail stores, with responsibilities relating to enhancing in-store customer experience and developing skill sets in new staff members. Showed ability to consistently overachieve when working to in-store targets, leading to a reputation as one of the leading salespeople on the region. In this job I further enhanced my ability to provide an outstanding customer experience (reflected in exceptional customer feedback scores). I also expanded my technological knowledge and worked with others to enable the Preston store to become one of the top performing retail outlets on the region.

Outbound sales role supplying small to medium size businesses with their mobile communication needs. Through this role I was able to further improve my verbal communication skills and adjust my behaviour to different customer types. I also showed an ability to adapt my sales skills to a differing environment whilst continuing to develop my capability to plan and organise my work schedule.

Worked up from sales assistant whilst studying towards full-time degree at university to second in command at the Clitheroe branch of Thresher, entrusted with responsibilities including shop management. Through my role I developed key skills in efficient prioritisation and delegation of workloads. I was able to continually develop my business acumen, whilst enhancing my leadership skills e.g. adapting communication to the situation and motivating colleagues. In this job I was involved in the consultation process during company redundancies and actively assisted others with relocation.
