I host a weekend Active Rock format shift on 95.9 The Rat and fill-in for weekday Drive Time, Midday, and Night shifts when needed. I introduce songs, interact with callers, conduct on-air contests, record and air traffic reports, provide stock market updates and weather reports, and board-op live remote broadcasts.

Jersey Rock is 95.9 The Rat's multi-platform local music brand. Centered on a 3-night per week on-air program, it incorporates a website, social media pages, weekly e-newsletter, weekly podcast, weekly video performance program, and periodic live music events featuring NJ-based acts. I review band submissions, conduct on-air interviews, write feature articles, update the website, cultivate the weekly e-newsletter, post to social media, book and host live shows, and host and produce all audio/video content for on-air broadcast and online streaming.

My duties include writing copy, voicing, and producing spots, promos, and pre-recorded programs for on-air broadcast and online streaming as well as instructing cart numbers and dubbing produced material into broadcast software. I work directly with the Creative Services Director, Program Director and various Account Executives to ensure client and station satisfaction. The software I regularly work with includes Marketron, vCreative, Wide Orbit, Adobe Audition, Audacity, and Microsoft Office.

My duties include voicing, producing, and dubbing spots and promos, instructing cart numbers, dubbing pre-recorded and syndicated programming, printing logs, and handling missing spot reports. I work with Adobe Audition, Audacity, Marketron, and Wide Orbit.

I assigned stories, scheduled interviews, produced hourly news updates, and created a weekly news magazine program and annual election coverage special. The culture I established at WMCX News lasted over a decade after I graduated.
