Public Affairs Specialist
Current- Led efforts to transform, modernize and redesign our organization's website, csu.org- Delivered informational presentations to our organization’s Board of Directors, senior leadership and key stakeholders to communicate project milestones, objectives and impacts to our employees and customers- Researched and identified potential content management solutions, collaborating closely with cybersecurity and IT teams to select and successfully implement new software- Conducted comprehensive data analysis of website traffic to identify user behavior and content needs to install an improved website structure- Streamlined and consolidated content on csu.org, reducing the number of core pages from more than 300 to 176, resulting in a more focused and user-friendly navigation experience- Vetted, approached and selected a website development & design firm to assist in the csu.org redesign project- Collaborated with the contracted website design & development firm to refine the website’s custom design, core features, and introduce innovative design elements aligned with organizational goals- Executed manual migration of web content for csu.org, including adding essential metadata for more than 500 documents, 1,200 images, and 170 core webpages to improve accessibility and search engine optimization- Established new workflows and permission settings within the CMS, enabling staff members to update and enhance website content while maintaining brand consistency and quality control- Selected to serve as an active member of our digital accessibility project team, which is committed to ensuring all digital content on csu.org meets WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards- Manages and ensures quality of content, design, and copy for csu.org and the organization’s intranet, maintaining consistency with brand standards and ensuring accuracy before publication
