Recruited as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Humphreys & Partners Architects, headquartered in Dallas.

I led the development and implementation of a new annual operating plan process. I also provided other financial planning, analysis and reporting services. I performed the above during the integration of a recent acquisition and conversion to Deltek Vision software.

Carter & Burgess was acquired by Jacobs. I played a major role in due diligence and post-sale integration, including conversion to an Oracle accounting system. Introduced new key performance metrics and revised finance and accounting processes. I led the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, and provided other financial planning, analysis and reporting services.

Provided analysis and reporting for key metrics driving profitability and cash flow of this engineering & architecture firm. Prepared extensive presentations for internal management, the board of directors, and external parties. I led the preparation of the annual plan and monthly forecasts. Implemented new systems and processes and improved cycle times. Experienced with FAR, CAS and GAAP. Managed 1.1 million square foot office lease portfolio that the firm occupied.

I reported directly to the President and performed all the functions of CFO for this division of Scotsman Industries. I was responsible for finance, accounting, and information systems. Recruited to correct accounting and systems deficiencies and consolidate two divisions.

I was promoted in a series of progressively more responsible positions at several divisions of Cummins -- Cummins Cash & Information Services (CCIS), Cummins Transportation Services and Fleetguard. In the last position, with CCIS, I was responsible for finance & accounting (CFO), customer service, and human resources.
