Here's the cliff notes of how it all came to be:After years of struggling with my own weight and self confidence I decided to become a certified fitness trainer in 2004. I never thought I would make it my profession but after discovering how overcoming my own struggles positively impacted every other aspect of my life, I started training clients one on one at Body Tech Total Fitness.Seeing there was a need to reach out to the community, since many people would never join a gym, I founded the Sole Seekers Walking Club. There I provide a positive supportive atmosphere where members can take small steps towards living healthier and happier lives. Realizing inspiring community members was a difficult task, I joined Toastmasters to help improve my persuasive speaking skills. After two years of diligently working the program, I created a series of talks entitled "Small Steps to a Healthier You." The talks provide practical tips on how to exercise right, eat right, and think right. I've since been hired to speak for churches, community groups, libraries, health care facilities, high schools, retirement homes, colleges, prisons, and businesses across the country.My mission is "To empower others with the knowledge to build stronger bodies and minds to better serve the world." That being said, this isn't a job or career for me, it's my calling. Therefore I will bring my series of talks to anyone, anywhere, for any price.
