I've been a management consultant for 25 years now, and a partner at Berkeley for eight years. Like all the people here at Berkeley, I work closely with senior clients and their organisations to help them shape and deliver their most complex and critical challenges. That could be, for example:- developing strategy- helping shape organisation and operating model to best deliver against the strategy.- taking an idea and building a grounded business case that people can believe in. - mobilising and/or leading a big, complex programme that needs commercial, operational, and IT to work together to deliver a major business outcome. - reviewing a programme that is in distress, and then turning things around. This all involves being able to work well with senior leaders and their teams, and being able to bridge the gap from ‘the business’ across to IT and Digital (of course big change almost always has a strong technology component these days). I always try to make an impact with the rigour and thoughtfulness of what I do, and I also I like quickly becoming part of the client team.I’ve worked across several industries over the years – with (amongst others) Royal Mail, the NHS, BP, Unilever, British Airways, Lufthansa, Sainsbury's, Centrica, Homebase, Simplyhealth, Astra-Zeneca, Pfizer and The City of London Corporation. Like many others, I have a growing passion for Sustainability. I've been closely involved in Berkeley's plan to move to Net Zero, and enjoy helping our clients in the Sustainability space, which is the biggest impact Berkeley can make as an organisation.I'm also proud to be Chair of Trustees for School Ground Sounds, a fantastic charity based in South London, that helps young people through music.
