About Tom Larson

My career has taken me literally all over the map and has involved a fair amount of crazy and traumatic experiences. All those seemingly random experiences led to what now is now the most fulfilling job I've ever had - helping military veterans and first responders deal with the traumatic experiences in their own lives. It took me until my fifties to get there, but I think I've finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up!

    Motorcycle Relief Project serves military veterans and first responders who struggle with PTSD and other related mental health issues. We take participants on five-day "Relief Rides" on our fleet of BMW dual-sport motorcycles. We ride on-road and off-road during the day, and at night we have workshops and group discussions where participants can talk about their struggles in a non-judgmental environment with like-minded individuals who won't think they're crazy, broken, dangerous or weak. Our program is designed to allow participants to decompress, get unstuck, connect with other veterans, and learn valuable coping skills for dealing with their issues.
