As team leader, reported to the COO and oversaw a group of three engineers responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and documenting all new technology. Maintained a multi-million-pound infrastructure, which included HPE Blade technology, VMware Virtualisation and GPU enabled Citrix VDI to meet the demands of a fast-paced legal firm.Key Projects• Directed IT transformation project encompassing migrating the firm’s legacy domains to a single, unified domain. Consolidated multiple servers to a virtualised stack based on VMware and Citrix technologies.• Played a key role in the Information Security Forum (ISO 27001).• Led the merger of Shakespeares and SGH Martineau from an IT Infrastructure perspective, including a £700k infrastructure refresh, 1,200 user / staff migration to a unified platform, network infrastructure refresh and fit out of a new data centre (new core switching and edge switching), and Aruba Wireless deployment across all six offices. Completed new MPLS and core switching at each office, ranging from a small 50-user office to a 500-user head office. • Designed and built a 1200-seat EUC VDI project, rolled out across the firm (including high-speed all-flash SAN, FC SAN Switching, NVIDIA GRID vGPU).
