As VP of Operations, some of my responsibilities included redesigning and implementing Operations Department intentions. Along with my team, we designed an Operational Development Plan that provided a step by step process to develop each employee's potential. I also mentored high-potential future leaders by providing resources and guiding their professional growth from within. Our Project Managers and Foremen were knowledgeable on overall electrical project performance and were second to none in safety, quality, and production. We had great success with our graph display program where leadership teams could visually view projects and plot a course of action to improve results. Additionally, coaching Bart's future leaders served as an inspiration to me as I enjoyed passing on resources and tools that helped our teams lead vs. just manage. Together with other executive leadership members, we developed resources and proven tools that others could leverage to expand their influential roles within the organization. We also expanded our Prefabrication Area of business and put teams together to achieve success in this new venture.

Kansas City, Missouri Area

Started a long and enjoyable career with Ford in various engineering roles and grew from within to various roles and responsibilities including the production superintendent where I was responsible for production, quality, and the safety performance of 130 employees. Solved quality and cost concerns daily, reported to senior managers issues and resolutions, and exceeded annual performance goals each year. Worked to improve procedures and processes that kept the department at Best-in-Class performance. Completed 6-Sigma Blackbelt training – modified department performance and processes that resulted in savings of 1.5 million dollars. Worked with outside organizations to speedily resolve product concerns (vendor management). In 2009, I accepted the role of Area Manager in charge of operations for manufacturing the F-150 truck series. This role required me to lead with integrity and guide 200+ employees from line-production workers up through manufacturing engineering managers. Proud of the Best-in-Class ranking the team earned and the quality our divisions stood for.

As a United States Air Force Officer, my work consisted of Project Manager and System Engineering. I worked in the Space Community and oversaw the development of software for communicating with a network of satellites. Earlier in my career, I served as an Airman and Non-Commission Officer where my specialties included Computer Operations and Officer Training. I graduated with honors from Basic Training, worked at the National Security Agency as a computer operator in a highly secured department and proud to share that I was one of two airmen in 1984 to be accepted into an officer commissioning program. Graduated at the top of the class B.S. in Engineering (Computer Engineering).
