Built a team of 15+ to design and build an award-winning proximity marketing system utilizing multiple locaton signals (GPS, wifi and beacon) to deliver content and collect analytics on customers while they are shopping in-store. The system included a web based portal that coordinated interactions between retailers, publishers and advertisers; allowed users to manage signal infrastructure, manage campaigns and creatives, and to view detailed analytics on all aspects of system and campaign activity. The system detected location, served content and tracked activity of approximately 50M phones across a network of publishers and owned and operated applications. In addition, the system served content to and tracked analytics on a much larger population of users through Google Nearby.In addition to being responsible for the product and engineering organization and helping steer the technical direction of the company, designed and implemented a secure BLE beacon protocol (SecureCast), BLE beacon firmware and SDKs for iOS and Android and REST APIs for location resolution and ad serving.

Built a team of 20+ engineers to design and build award-winning storage virtualization platform (product of the year), Chief architect of the management platform which coordinated discovery and provisioning of the entire SAN stack including host, fibre channel switch, in-band switch resident virtualization engine, and storage array. Multi-user web-based management portal allowed concurrent users to provision and manage storage for thousands of hosts and their logical volumes – automating the exposure of volumes on the array, zone changes in the fabric, provisioning the virtualization engine and presentation on the host. Responsible for all aspects of the product from concept to design and implementation. Responsible for day to day management of team. Responsible for establishing all development proceses: source control, nightly build system, formal automated unit tests, integrated information portal.
