Proactively identified a problem with the drawing of operational funds, researched applicable regulations and business practices, and created a standard operating procedure that allowed for the timely drawing of funds that still adhered to all regulatory guidance. - Created standard operations procedures for a congressionally mandated program supporting the spouses of active duty Special Operations Soldiers. Assisted a board of volunteers in organizing 5 events, procured congressionally appropriated funds for the events, and established business practices that allowed for timely use of funds while adhering to regulatory guidance. Successfully managed the budget of $75K working by, with, and through a committee of dedicated volunteers outside the chain of command. -

The program was created to provide education in unit culture, mission essential Soldier qualifications, and dedicated administrative in-processing procedures. The program was so well-received that the higher echelon of command, as well as partner nations, requested briefings on the process of planning and executing the program of instruction. -

Responsible for the analysis, procurement, and writing of training programs with regards to a “commercial off-the-shelf” replacement to a dated and needlessly expensive army system. - Successfully submitted 24 monthly “Unit Status Reports” requiring communication, coordination, and buy-in from key stakeholders across the organization to properly reflect needs of the unit, training constraints, and budget constraints to properly reflect unit preparedness for contingency operations throughout the Indo-Pacific Region. - Successfully oversaw the Command Language Program, achieving the highest organizational proficiency rating among 1st Special Forces Command. Through the management of language instructors, acquisition of training aids, and sound judgement utilizing a $100K budget, the Command Language Program met and exceeded all goals set by the commander and kept the organization proficient on a mission critical skill set. -
