Proactively identified a problem with the drawing of operational funds, researched applicable regulations and business practices, and created a standard operating procedure that allowed for the timely drawing of funds that still adhered to all regulatory guidance. - Created standard operations procedures for a congressionally mandated program supporting the spouses of active duty Special Operations Soldiers. Assisted a board of volunteers in organizing 5 events, procured congressionally appropriated funds for the events, and established business practices that allowed for timely use of funds while adhering to regulatory guidance. Successfully managed the budget of $75K working by, with, and through a committee of dedicated volunteers outside the chain of command.
