About Tommy Jenkins

Today's radio station and broadcast facility not only need an I.T. person, but ALSO needs a skilled and experienced RF/Transmitter professional who are becoming harder to find. I invite you to give me the opportunity to offer those skills to your team. Please look over my experience below. Now, a few other facts about me......I'm now celebrating my 46th year in broadcasting; I have a strong work ethic, and have worked in various areas of radio including News, Sales, Production, Programming, On Air and Engineering, with my emphasis on engineering and on air/programming since I was 16 years old. I worked on my first audio console and transmitter when I was 16 years old. I have spent many hours studying and am proficient at audio processing on various Orban Optimod and Omnia processors both AM & FM. I have engineered in small to large markets as Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering of multiple markets/stations. I am currently Regional Engineer for Family Radio. I have operated full time in the past, and now as time allows my own media service, STS Enterprises. Which includes STS Broadcast Engineering, specializing in both studio builds and maintenance and I.T., along with transmitter maintenance, repair and installation. Rick Holiday Productions features a voice over production service, recording/mixing client commercials and custom sweepers as heard on KWEL Radio Midland, Texas.
