Palace For Life Foundation is the official charity of Premier League football club Crystal Palace. Using the power of football and the Palace brand, we work with over 15,000 south Londoners every year, helping them to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.- Delivery of awareness campaigns to highlight Palace for Life’s work and projects to CPFC fanbase, Palace for Life participants, donors and key partners- Driving support and engagement for Palace for Life programmes using a digital-first approach- Line management of two employees- Ownership of the marketing and communications output for large-scale fundraising events- Overseeing and developing the social media strategy and output of all Palace for Life channels- Responsible/overseeing all written content relating to Palace for Life - including website, social media, press materials, key messages, matchday programme articles, and Palace For Life content on the CPFC website - Campaign project management - working with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver communications and marketing activity in an engaging way- Part of 'London United' communications workforce - group of 16 London-based Club Community Organisations who work together on a variety of London-wide projects- Responsible for co-developing the Palace for Life communications strategy- Ownership and development of the Palace for Life tone of voice

Anthony Nolan recruit, maintain and match individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who need lifesaving transplants. After seeking more permanent work, I decided to approach an organisation close to me personally. After being on the register for 5 years, I was asked to donate my stem cells to a patient in need of a transplant. This encouraged me to give something back to an organisation that gave me such a unique opportunity. In my previous role with the Anthony Nolan bone marrow register, I was responsible for contacting donors who are on the register to provide further blood samples. This was to improve their likelihood of becoming matches with patients with life threatening conditions such as Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes. - Constant communication with donors - usually over the phone - Contacting potential donors to provide blood samples for furtherenrichment typing- Assessing medical fitness- Dealing with any sensitive or queries regarding bone marrowdonation- A member of the Operations away day planning committee.
