As the Strategic Planner, I lead Operational and Joint Planning Teams (O/JPT) to develop, coordinate, synchronize, brief, and write operational plans and orders for the 34th Infantry Division, a 2-Star General Command. Lead planning efforts translating strategic guidance and direction into campaign plans and operations orders. Understand how to integrate campaigns and plans, theater strategies, national military strategy, and national security policy into operational guidance—grounded in operational/strategic theory, doctrine, and history. Able to identify problems and propose viable solutions using critical and creative thinking and communicate recommendations verbally, graphically, and in writing. Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to 34ID on Army and joint planning processes and joint military operations with an expanded perspective of theater strategic to operational warfighting concepts.

The Advanced Military Studies Program (AMSP) is a graduate-level education program of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS). The vision for AMSP is to develop effective planners who help senior leaders understand the operational environment and then visualize and describe viable solutions to operational problems. Responsible for fostering the formal relationship with the Croatian Armed Forces by providing resources and expertise to strengthen the reliance within the constructs of the US Defense and State Department's State Partnership Program.

The executive officer is responsible for ensuring that squadron staff processes are efficient and fully nested with higher headquarters staff efforts. Specific considerations for the squadron executive officer included ensuring squadron participation in operational working groups, generating options and making recommendations to the squadron commander. The executive officer maintains oversight of administrative and sustainment planning, ensuring that squadron's extended distances and dispersed locations are accounted for. The executive officer is responsible for ensuring that squadron operations develop BCT understanding and integrate into the BCT operations process.

Responsible for facilitating the training requirements and resource requests for Minnesota Army National Guard. Responsible for the development and staffing of long range training and leader development guidance, training plans and budget. Coordinate meetings as necessary to synchronize efforts across the states operations and training. Manage a budget of over $30 million dollars to ensure proper allocation of resources to accomplish program objectives.Responsible for the planning, resourcing and executing of the Minnesota Army National Guards training operations. Supervise a budget of over $30 million.

Served as the Chief of Plans responsible for maintaining a current and projected view of brigade operations, and planned future operations based on orders from higher echelons, projected outcomes and the Commander’s guidance.• Conducted long range equipment and personnel assessments to ensure availability of resources critical to the accomplishment of the mission• Created and implemented a long range training plan for the organization while incorporating innovative strategies, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing recommendations to improve operations• Coordinated with subordinates, peers, and superiors through formal and informal written and oral communication on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis to ensure that projects were within the assigned scope and time-frame

Lead 29 full time Soldiers who support 640 Soldiers from the Unit.Ensure personnel and equipment readiness of 640+ Soldiers and millions of dollars of equipment.

Plan and resource all training events for a 500+ Soldier Cavalry Organization within the Minnesota Army National Guard.

Lead 135 Cavalry Reconnaissance Soldiers. Plan and execute training, readiness and personal management. Responsible for over $15 million of equipment.

Responsible for Strength, Conditioning and speed development for all of Hopkins High School Sports.

Responsible for designing and implementing workouts for Men's Track and Field and Baseball. Assist in designing and implementing workouts for Men's and Women's Hockey, Men's Basketball, Men's Swimming and Men's and Women's Golf.

Designed and Implemented workouts for Hockey players that ranged from squirts to NHL All-Stars.

Supervised workouts for Football and all Men's and Women's Olympic Sports.
