I am charged with leading the strategy, initiatives, and business recruitment activities for the Downtown Council of Kansas City (DTC). The DTC represents Greater Downtown Kansas City to companies evaluating opportunities for relocation or expansion. I specialize in developing and executing our business recruitment campaign in partnership with DTC members to share the message of Downtown Kansas City's amazing transformation from a 9-to-5 office district into a thriving, mixed-use neighborhood. I provide business executives, brokers, and site selectors with knowledge and support through extensive reports, demographics, and development information about Downtown Kansas City.

I am on the leadership team that created and now implements LaunchKC, an initiative dedicated to advancing the Kansas City economy by attracting and retaining extraordinary entrepreneurs. LaunchKC invests more than $1 million a year in high-growth startups through accelerators, studios, and our grants competition.

I assessed the feasibility and viability of housing development plans seeking Federal or State Low Income Housing Tax Credits by reviewing pro formas, budgets, and financial plans for housing projects submitted to MHDC.

I worked within the real estate development arm and assisted in the development of historic and new construction buildings into income-restricted apartments. I created proformas to determine the feasibility of multi-family housing projects and applied for local and federal low-income and historic tax credits. Among other projects, our team renovated the historic City Hall building in Kansas City, Kansas into 44 apartments.
