At IDR I present a 2 hour House Music Radio Show which showcases multiple styles and flavours of House Music, from the warmup right up to the Peak Time bangers!After working on my show on Saturdays 10pm - Midnight, then Friday Nights 8pm - 10pm for some time I have now been promoted to Friday Nights at 6pm - 8 which is a Prime Time slot for this kind of programming.I have retained the feel of the show but I now also take phone calls to better interact with the listener base, bringing on Local DJ's for Guest Slots aswell as holding regular competitions for tickets to local night life.My shows can be found here: https://www.indemandradio.com/liverpool/show/tommymc

My multi role position at In Demand Radio as the Head of Music aswell as Head of Imaging/Production is a challenging one but hugely rewarding. My job is essentially the sound of the station.Its my job to go out and find the best music possible & to curate the playlists in a way that takes into account our local area, the future of music & the sound of our Station.We pride ourselves in breaking the mould of Radio to playlist music that is more often than not, ahead of the Commerical Radio curve aswell as playing many grassroots Edits & Remixes that normally would never be heard on the air.I come from a background of DJ'ing & Music Production of multiple sounds plus my taste is wide and varied so the Head Music aspect of my position is well suited and something I feel comfortable in.As for Imaging & Production this was a completely new challenge to me as prior to IDR I had never created any sort of imaging before, so alien was the concept to that I had to learn on the job.Now after some time in this role I feel I have solidified the sound of the station which is instantly recognisable and distinguishable as IDR.I love the challenge this aspect of my position provides and its something that I can now add to my list of ever expanding experience as I work within the Radio Business.

I have been working with Boost Music for some time now where my music has been used as the bed music for The Vodafone Big Top 40, TalkSport Premier League promo, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky & much much more.

At Zest I Presented a House Music Show where I started at a 4-6pm Saturday Afternoon Presenter & left on the Prime Time 8-10pm Saturday Night Slot.
