Current· Collaboration with Board of Trustees: Working closely with trustees and officers, transformed board governance and organizational impact. Collaborative accomplishments include implementation of Fanning Institute Strategic Plan, improved board engagement, streamlined committee structure, successful name change & rebrand, and a turn toward reliable, data-oriented performance based budgeting. · Fundraising & Finance: Increased total annual revenue by ~ 30% from 2018– 2020; projected increase of ~40% by the close of FY2022; Introduced two highly successful annual fundraisers, Historic Athens Porchfest & Historic Athens Mardi Gras; increased membership by 40% & sponsorship by 58%; secured highly competitive grant from National Trust for Historic Preservation to add staff; earned GuideStar Charity Check’s prominent Platinum Seal of Transparency; secured ~$4m in SPLOST funds for local projects; increased federal funding to expand Hands On Historic Athens Director to a full-time position; ensured reliable funding from ACC for Historic Athens Welcome Center initiative; identified Quickbooks-integrated CRM solutions to allow for improved donor-centered stewardship, easy membership renewals, gratitude procedures, & financial compliance.· Education & Advocacy: Increased consistency and attendance with our educational public programming, establishing a standard for standing room only recurring events; created over 200 hours of virtual educational programming that led to a >291% increase of our social media presence; established initiative to create curriculum aides for Clarke County School District; created Historic Athens Internship program, which has worked with / developed ~70 UGA students· Multi-Unit Leadership: Utilized data-oriented problem solving, SWOT analysis, & morale boosting procedures to establish a thriving team culture that improved the efficiency/efficacy of our three units: Historic Athens, Hands On Historic Athens, & Historic Athens Welcome Center
