I have been a connector since childhood. When I was in high school I thought my best friend should attend college on a basketball scholarship so I connected him with scholarship opportunities by arranging for him to have try outs with several small colleges in Alabama. He got a scholarship.This passion and ability has followed my throughout my career. For the past twenty-five years I have been connecting the Boards of nonprofit organizations with their next Chief Executive. As Founder and Senior Concultant at JobfitMatters our firm has partnered with the Boards of over 300 nonprofit organizations in finding their next Chief Executive. Our client base includes colleges, universities and seminaries, NGOs, K-12 independent schools, churches, parachurch organizations, rescue missions, foundations and other nonprofit organizations.I grew up in Alabama and studied electrical engineering at Auburn University. Graduating from the College of Engineering was one of the most difficult things I have ever done. I was not cut out to be an engineer.The highlight of my time at Auburn was coming to Christ as a sophomore and being discipled by the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru).I took my MBA from Samford University and the D.Phil. from Omega Graduate School. Being a life-long learner, I would do post graduate studies if the right opportunity came along.As the baby-boomer generations moves through the pipeline, the time is coming for these leaders to pass the leadership baton.
