I successfully completed a four year long research project, developing long-term project planning, independent working, and technical communication skills in the process.I am interested in applying novel datasets to solve important problems in geophysics. During my PhD, I developed and implemented wave propagation theory to model and invert a new type of seismic observation provided by GPS receivers deployed close to earthquakes. I demonstrated the potential of these measurements for earthquake early warning. I identified that the same forward modelling and non-linear inversion techniques could also be used on oil-field scale data, and successfully applied them to study seismic data recorded at hydraulic fracturing sites.

I analysed carbon trading and emissions measurement policies, successfully advocating for the company to become a signatory of the Carbon Disclosure Project.
