I am currently employed as a Market Data Specialist at Options IT. Options are the number one provider of IT infrastructure to global Capital Markets firms, supporting their ecosystems and operations. Within my role, I seek information from the exchanges regarding pricing, licencing, connectivity, enablements, and any other notifications, and distribute these out internally or to our clients (both new clients and existing clients). I work internally with all departments to ensure any questions clients have regarding any exchange information is collected and answered in a timely manner. I administer monthly exchange reports out to clients, collate the information and report to the exchanges the usage figures. I work with our Finance team to ensure services have purchase orders raised and any concerns around these are dealt with proficiently. We also collate information from exchanges into databases and keep these up today date with the latest price lists and with the latest information provided.
