Technical lead for a team creating American Greetings' distributed online greeting card system. The system was written in C++ and ran on Windows NT server. The system also featured a fault tolerant message dispatch and load balancing front end implemented in Java and running on Solaris.Member of small team constructing an AOL client plugin extension that allowed members to create photo slideshows from files on disk and then mail them to their friends and family.Member of team creating a cross platform multimedia streaming rich text document format and viewer, comparable to Adobe PDF. This product was integrated into both the Windows and Mac version of the AOL client. I was responsible for much of the cross platform C++ framework, as well as the Windows graphics and rendering implementation.
