During my time at Xander I have gained and improved a number of key skills, both technical and interpersonal.I have completed projects involving Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Large Language Models, and LangChain. I have also trained colleagues going through the Xander academy in a number of areas, including Python, SQL, Excel.

After 2 years as a customer assistant, I was promoted to step-up shift leader. Although most of my duties remained the same, I was now entrusted to run and oversee the shop. This meant I was tasked with leading the team on that shift, and dealing with any customer interactions that the customer assistants were unable to deal with.

While at Tesco, I worked as part of a small team, performing various duties, in one of the busiest stores in the area. I had to have excellent communication and organisational skills, as most of my job involved interacting with customers, or organising/arranging stock in the back area.

During my time at ImproveWell, I completed two projects. The first was a spreadsheet that looked at historical data to improve their sales forecast accuracy. The second project was using Google Analytics and Google Data Studios to analyse web data and create marketing and sales dashboards.

Worked with the University Hospitals Birmingham radiation physics department for my MSc thesis, to calculate the uniformity of radiation dose rates outside of radiotherapy bunkers. From this, I developed a rule to improve the accuracy of radiation dose measurements taken over extended periods of time using passive dosimeters. I also helped prove the misuse.
