I head up a team that supports anywhere from 500-1000 creators every year to improve their local area, helping them bring their idea onto our platform and then successfully raise the money to delier it. Spacehive already has an industry-leading rate of project success - over 70% of campaigns succeed. Using technology as well as human input, we are making Spacehive the home of projects that bring places to life.

The Brixton Pound is the first urban community/complementary currency in the UK, designed to meet local needs and respond to the economic challenges in Brixton. My role focused on the development of the organisation from one reliant on grant funding and working on a single issue (money) to one which had wider social goals and generated its own revenue. During my time at the Brixton Pound achievements and landmarks included setting up two new spaces, launching a community lottery and grant fund, a local currency cash machine (a first anywhere in the world), and showcasing the Brixton Pound at the V&A, Tate Modern, Museum of London as well as countless national and international features.

Made in Lambeth is a pioneering cooperative project that brings local people together to share skills and collectively tackle community issues over the course of a weekend. As the project lead, my role involves seeking out the areas to focus on, shaping the challenges, and ensuring that events deliver tangible improvements from which the whole borough benefits.

Employability Forum is a leading refugee employment and migrant integration charity. Responsibilities include managing the pan-London project ‘Refugees into Schools’, engaging with local authorities and refugee community organisations, assisting funding bids, drafting policy documents, managing three members of staff, and maintaining the website.

Honduras This Week is a fortnightly English language newspaper sold throughout Central America. I reported from Tegucigalpa during the 2009 presidential coup d’etat, and wrote feature articles around the country. I wrote and photographed the front cover of the paper's best-ever selling issue (16 July 2009)

Dods is the leading political information, public affairs and policy communication specialist in the UK and EU. As the lead consultant for health and pharmaceutical clients, the role involved managing their accounts, monitoring and advising on legislation, and carrying out research on their behalf.

Working for an MEP, my main responsibilities were managing her diary and the day-to-day running of the office. In addition the role involved research and counsel for legislation, writing press releases and speeches, and organising campaigns and events.
